I went into the 2026 Easter Event in Grow a Garden expecting the usual seasonal routine: grab a few rewards, maybe buy something silly, then forget about it by the weekend. But after a few nights of proper farming, I've changed my mind. There's more going on here than it first looks like, especially if you care about Golden Eggs and long-term pet value. A lot of players are just clicking around and hoping for luck, while others are quietly stacking GAG Items, timing harvests, and pulling way ahead.
Golden Eggs Aren't Just For ShowThe Golden Egg is the main chase item for a reason. It sits at Divine rarity, and yes, the Easter Bunny pet is the flashy prize with that tiny drop chance. Still, I wouldn't ignore the rest of the pool. The Easter Egg Chick is the one that surprised me most. Its Easter Eggcelerator ability stacks, so having more than one active can make your next hatches feel a lot less painful. I've also had good mileage from Marshmallow Lambs. The cooldown help doesn't sound exciting on paper, but during a long session, it really does add up.
Stop Wasting Time On Weak CropsChoc Coins look brutal at first. Seeing 25,000 coins for a single Golden Egg can make the whole event feel like a wall. The trick is not to farm like a beginner. Candy Carrots seem safe because they're easy, but their value is poor, and you'll feel stuck fast. Eggfruit and Easter Egg plants are much better targets once you've got the seeds. Also, don't ignore the lilac slot in the Easter Garden Plot. Put your best seeds there. The mutation boost can turn an average harvest into a proper payday, and that's where the grind starts to feel manageable.
The Evil Bunny Is Worth Your TimeI used to run straight past the Evil Bunny NPC, mostly because I assumed the quests were filler. They're not. His tasks can hand out useful extras, including rare pets and seeds that would take much longer to get through normal farming. My usual move is simple: grow cheap, quick crops on the side and keep them ready for sacrifices. That way, I'm not giving up my money crops, and I still get a steady trickle of bonus rewards while my main plot is doing the heavy lifting.
Play Smart If You're Short On TimeNot everyone can sit in-game for hours, and that's fair. If you've got work, school, or just a life outside Roblox, you'll need to be a bit sharper with your routine. Hit Egg Hunts when they come up, keep the lilac slots working, and don't let empty plots sit around doing nothing. Some players also look for Grow a Garden Items for sale when they want to speed things up, though farming it yourself still has its own charm. Either way, the event timer matters. Once these pets leave, you probably won't get another clean shot at them for a long while.
